How Many, Like Mark Levin, Are “So Frustrated With This Tyranny”?
The following 14 minute segment of Mark Levin’s radio program likely reflects the feelings of many law abiding good Americans while the Lilliputians of government continue to tighten the chains of liberty and freedom. The onslaught and rush for more gun control following the Sandy Hook shooting is so extreme, that both sides are glaringly and clearly apparent in their opposing viewpoints, emotion, logic, or lack thereof. I have never before in my life witnessed such a stark and intense difference of ideology in America whereby one side boisterously favors more government and intervention while the other favors personal liberty and responsibility. The views are so extremely different at their core, that there is no apparent way to discuss or reason the logic.
Listen and discover if the words he speaks ring true with you… or if the words come across as repulsive. Your reaction will reflect which side you are on (in case you didn’t already know)…
…and in case you didn’t know, we’re on the side of liberty, freedom, and personal responsibility.
As Matt Barber just said in his article, “Civil War’s A-Brewin” (from WND.com),
“I really, really hope this president and his authoritarian cohorts in Congress will slow down, take a deep breath and realize that, right now, they’re playing a very dangerous game of chicken. If they try what I think they might, but hope they don’t, I fear this nation – already on the precipice of widespread civil unrest and economic disaster – might finally spiral into to utter chaos, into a second civil war.”
“But then again, that may be exactly what they have in mind.”

This might sound cynical, but we’re beyond the point where logical arguments can change a person’s mind. People believe what they want to believe. If the events of the last 6 years haven’t frightened people, a little more inflation or gun control won’t faze them. Sadly, the very fact that we have to discuss prepping issues lets us know what shape our country is in.
That is very accurate. Logic won’t win the argument with those who only (or mostly) react to their emotions. There is a great divide. The gun issue is just one of many where the divide shows itself.

I have listened to Mark Levin’s broadcasts for several years now. He and I are about the same age, and were raised and taught by WWII vets. Mark’s perspective, and basic political philosophy, are very close to mine. I have been listening to Mark chronicle the events of the final days of America, as we had both grown to know it. Mark has always kept me informed, educated, and has maintained my morale. However, I have always been more pessimistic than Mark, due to my own experiences with our Government as an intelligence operative for various lettered agencies. I departed Intel when I realized whom I was actually working for, and what their goals actually seemed to be. I simply couldn’t put my life at risk any further in order to advance goals I have always desired to destroy. If you remember the days when President Carter’s administration was causing many in Intel to get out…I was one of these.
I no longer think we can prevent the strife to come. America has been carefully managed to its fall as a free republic, with government subordinated to the rights of the individual. I no longer doubt the advent of deliberate chaos and the confiscation, not only of arms, but of the very foundation of all human rights..the right to the ownership of one’s own life.
If the Government cannot respect the rights of the world’s smallest minority, which is the single individual, by themselves, it cannot be expected to respect the rights of any larger minority..or any human rights at all.
Gun confiscation is the “trip wire” set by many to indicate when it was time for them to go to war. Many will not wait for a knock at their own doors, but will go knocking on the doors of those seeking oppression. The government should be aware of this and will probably bide their time, taking action where they can, increasing the cost of owning firearms, limiting access to them, placing limits on ownership, and attempting to disable their easy use…as media continues to emotionally program new minds to accept being disarmed.
However, there may not be enough time for the government to use this slower approach, events forcing their hand, and causing them to “trip the wire.”
Agreed. Just starting listening to Mark and becoming a fan.
@Ision
You are damn right the trip wire is set, and as you correctly pointed out, it just might go off prematurely. I am sick of waiting patiently while this administration formulates a devious plot to disarm us; even if it’s an assault rifle ban, or a 30 round mag ban, thats already one ban too many. and at this stage of the game we DO need those 30 round mags to protect our lives and the lives of our family. I for one will be on the front line as will my brothers. We must act soon to thwart this tyranny because waiting too much longer only allows the gov’t to make the first move. Now, my dad always taught me that you let the bully throw the first punch before you beat the snot out of him. This case is a little different. Someone in a position of power like Ted Nugent needs to help organize us liberty loving Americans before its too late. The only thing that liberals understand is force. Now I’m no war vet, I’m just your average American slave, working my tail off so that some ho from the hood doesn’t have to and I’m fed up like a lot of good honest, God fearing people. So other than disarmament, where do you draw the line and turn words into action? Because there has got to be a point when we all stand shoulder to shoulder and say enough is enough! Mark Levin is absolutely correct on this and I’m glad he’s got the balls to say it. Please, if you love your family and you love this once great country do something about it. The letters you write to you elected communists aren’t doing it.
Although I understand completely your frustration, to be clear, this site does not advocate proactive moves of the kind that I think you’re eluding to. The phase we are in right now requires massive pressure from law-abiding freedom loving Americans to their representatives in government. This is how the system works. People need to become Vocal. Don’t just sit there being angry or worried. Focus your anger towards your politicians (all of them) by calling them, writing them, emailing them, relentlessly. So far, there have been only words and threats of action by the government. We shall see if and what laws or executive orders are enacted, and then challenge the legality through the courts. One would expect the Constitution to hold up. However we shall see how that turns out. Until then, here is how to locate your politician…

@ Ken
You are completely correct, I didn’t mean to paint a bullseye on your site. I do apologize, I’m just frustrated like most people. By action and not words, I meant protest in person instead of simply writing letters. That’s why I referenced Ted Nugent to organize. I was not aware that a protest was already in the works, but you can bet your ass ill be out there protesting with the rest of you guys. Thank you for this great site, we all certainly appreciate having the opportunity to voice our opinions.
Best Regards,
Patriot
I was at the protest in DC on the day of “the n word” incident. Be careful about protesting, even peacefully, because the government doesn’t like movements that get too effective.
Also don’t forget to march to your State Capitol building Jan 19 in support of Gun Rights. Google for more info.
Please be careful not to fall into the trap of eluding to or making threats against others like Youtuber James Yeager made the mistake because of his frustrations. He’s had his permit pulled and is now being used in the media as a poster child for reasons to confiscate. We need more smart action than dumb talk.
Amen brother. Thanks for looking out and sharing that story. I had never heard of it prreviously.
We are so concerned about our gun rights yet so many of us have supported taking away constitutional rights by way of the Patriot Act without comment.
