Bundy Ranch — Bunkerville, Nevada
There is a rapidly developing story at a Nevada ranch between an old time rancher family (a cattle ranch since the 1800’s) and the BLM (Bureau of Land Management).
The short of it is that BLM has just declared the adjacent federal land (which the cattle ranch has been using for grazing since the 1800’s) to be ‘protected’ because of a federally-protected desert tortoise (yes, a turtle). Due to non-compliance, the Feds have now descended upon the ranch and are apparently forcibly removing the cattle from rancher Cliven Bundy.
Today, during a confrontation, the federal agents became the aggressors and tazed Bundy, threw down a 57-year old woman, and attacked another pregnant woman with a K9 unit as seen in the following shocking video. Bundy supporters and militia groups are reportedly beginning to show up in support of his ranch.
200 Federal agents (and snipers) have swooped in on the area ranch with all their gear, weapons and hubris, and are now taking Bundy’s cattle.
Additionally, Dave Bundy, son of rancher Cliven Bundy, was reportedly arrested by BLM officers while he was standing along the north side of State Route 170 taking photographs of his family’s cattle that were grazing. Several members of the family had gone out for a drive in several vehicles to try to monitor the ongoing federal action to remove their father’s cattle from the range. They were not traveling on recently restricted federal land, but were traveling along the state highway looking north across the valley for signs of cattle.
Suddenly a large number of BLM vehicles came down and surrounded the area, Ryan Bundy said (Dave’s brother).
“I counted, they had 11 vehicles all with at least two agents in each one, maybe more,” he said. “They also had four snipers on the hill above us all trained on us. We were doing nothing besides filming the area.”
None of the occupants in the four family vehicles were carrying any fire arms, Bundy said.
Over their vehicle loudspeakers, the BLM officers ordered the family to leave the area, Bundy said.
“They said that we had no first amendment rights except for up by the bridge where they had established an area for that,” Bundy said.
The BLM has established two fenced areas near the City of Mesquite, that they have designated as free speech areas for members of the public to express their opinions.
(PLEASE READ THAT SENTENCE AGAIN UNTIL IT SINKS IN)
Ryan Bundy said “It happened pretty fast. They came down on him hard and had a German Shepherd on him. And then they took him.”
“We still don’t know what the charges are that they arrested him on,” Ryan Bundy said. “They mentioned some code over their loudspeakers. I don’t know what it was, but it was something or other federal code. That is what they arrested him on, was that premise.”
Apparently there has been a dispute that has been going on for years as lawsuits have been ongoing back and forth in the federal courts. Bundy has insisted that he does not need to recognize federal government jurisdiction on land that his family has used, improved and ranched since the late 1800s.
Having said that, why is it that the Feds are focusing all this manpower and firepower on this one family who has grazed this land for 150 years without issue (until recently)?
The BLM appears to an agency out of control (add it to the list).
Watch the jack-booted thugs in action:
One never knows which straw will break the camel’s back.
There are millions of Americans who are on the edge… even enraged over some of the massive constitutional overreach we’ve seen during these recent years by various government agencies and branches of government. Could this Nevada ‘spark’ catch fire? Or will it just be another federal government agency smack-down…

In an epic standoff that Infowars reporter David Knight described as being like “something out of a movie,” supporters of Nevada cattle rancher Cliven Bundy advanced on a position held by BLM agents despite threats that they would be shot at, eventually forcing BLM feds to release 100 cattle that had been stolen from Bundy as part of a land grab dispute that threatened to escalate into a Waco-style confrontation.
