A Nation Cannot Survive Treason From Within
December 15, 2011, Submitted by: Ken TweetMarcus Tullius Cicero was a Roman philosopher, statesman, lawyer, and Roman constitutionalist.
His words more than 2,000 years ago, ring true today… yes?
A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear. The traitor is the plague.

okay, I’ll bite. Who is the traitor?
We could start with each and every politician who swore to uphold and defend the constitution of the United States then supported the NDAA act.
@ Sean and who’s the traitor question. To me it is all those that sold out the country to the enemy, namely China ONLY for profit, favors, and power. Those who made laws that allowed American jobs and American money become entrenched in the coffers of the Chinese are the traitors. It use to be the politicians that allowed the exploitation of workers in this country were considered wicked and in the back pockets of the robber barons, but the money stayed primarily in the United States. Anyone that would sell off to say Nazi Germany would have been risking treason charges. Now thanks to free trade laws that favor ONLY a select few and countries like China and India and others, people get away with this all the time.
It was thought that free trade would bring inexpensive goods to the United States, which it did, with a huge cost, GOOD JOBS VANISHED and so did money. It use to be that the United States was the one everybody owed money to, now look at it. The traitors? Those that sold out the country to the enemy and weakened the entire infrastructure of the country that is set to implode from within. You know what Sean, it is very sad.
@All; There are many traitors among us apparently, not that there are not patriots, but true patriots seem few. The fact that the question even comes up, is an indictment on our society and how lax we have become in guarding out freedoms. It was crystal clear to our founding fathers, and they would be truly surprised and offended to read the headlines in today’s newspapers!!!! I have been gone a few days, but I will respond to this and OTHERS more properly tomorrow. Survive well, enjoy!
Personally, I’ve declared war on the banksters being so closely tied into the mix. Here’s what I’m doing.
“MAKE THIS GO VIRAL! For years we’ve been told to never touch our retirement savings. That was before we found out that crooked Wall Street banksters were using our 401k as their own personal pocketbook. Cutoff the supply of money they use against us each and every day…OURS! 2012 will be a very trying year for us all and we can all use a little extra cash. Just for 2012, go on line to your retirement provider and set your retirement contribution to 0%. You can change it anytime and it only takes a few minutes and key strokes. This will give you the extra money you’ll need next year AND you’ll be doing the country a favor by fighting back NOW!”
It is obvious that Obama is the “Enemy Within.” Everything he says, does, and proposes to do are designed to destroy the American economy forever.
