It’s Saturday once again. Another week gone by and the weekend straight ahead. The weather is improving as the winter is in the rear view mirror. More outdoor activities for sure.
So, what have you done for preparedness this week (or this weekend), be it indoors or outdoors?
The top three most read articles this week were:
Some of what I did for preparedness this week…
Dehydrated more Vidalia onions and stuffed them into canning jars.
Bought a shoulder strap & sling mount kit, and installed on one of my shotguns.
Bought a ‘plinking’ metal target set to practice accuracy with my air rifle. Looking forward to ‘playing’ with that this weekend 😉
Had the truck serviced, transmission filter kit & flush and fluid, replaced fuel filters (preparedness includes keeping up with one’s maintenance!)
Bought and replaced the smoke alarms in the house, since they were apparently the originals from when the house was built. Did you know that smoke detectors have a shelf life of about 8-10 years and should be replaced?
Replaced the battery on the John Deere. Drove it out of its storage area out back and ‘took it for a spin’. Still works…
Bought an Auger for my fence post holes. Still deciding about exactly where this fence will go…
Okay, how about you?
