A wicked storm blew through here a few days ago

In addition to talking about what we did for preparedness this week (which always presents ideas for others who happen to casually read this), lets also try something new…

Since Modern Survival Blog is not set up as a ‘forum’ (where people can categorically post any question they wish for others to opine), and since the MSB comment section of any given article needs to stay relatively on-topic (my preference), lets use the Saturday post as an open forum of sorts. If you have anything to put out there as a question for others to answer (or to seek opinion), then go ahead and ask. It won’t be as ‘neat and pretty’ as a real forum (my site is simply a blog format with comments) but lets give it a go and see what happens…

So, with that said, what did you do for your preparedness this week?

The most popular new articles this week were as follows:
What SERVICES Will Be Valuable For The Purpose Of Barter?

Followed by the poll itself, still in progress at the moment…
POLL: What SERVICES Will Be Valuable For Barter After Collapse or SHTF?

With the help of a friend, we felled quite a number of pine trees on one section of the property to thin out a sight line from the house. Next I have to decide what to do with all those trees 😉

I upgraded to a new chain saw, an 18″ Stihl, which should be about right for around here compared to what I had before (which now needs repair) and should last the rest of my time…

So lets hear from you…
