What did you do for your preparedness this week? (2016-01-30)

This weekly post is open forum (any topic) enabling you to voice your opinions, concerns, questions, and to also let others know what you have done this week for your preparedness.
The more who comment, the more ideas that are spread around for the benefit of all…

We are living in extraordinary times.

Current events and volatility both here and around the globe scream out at us each and every week. If I focused this blog on current events alone, I would have plenty of material for sure…

While it is easy to get discouraged and ‘down’ on the reality of what’s really going on out there – you can find peace to an extent if you have prepared for the many uncertainties that we face. We cannot change what is to come, but we can change how we will face it when it comes.

With that said, what have you been doing this week? Care to add to the discussion?

A few things from me this week:

Mrs.J and I have been doing some hiking on and off trail. I enjoy the winter aspect, tracking the many animals, and the wilderness quiet…

Doing some food storage organizing (a never ending occasional process). Focusing more on eating the foods that we store.

Making some room for a ‘rowing machine’ for more exercise during the winter especially.

Had several preparedness meetings (a good thing to regularly do with your spouse, etc..). Updated an ongoing ‘to do’ list specifically focused on aspects of preparedness.

Firearms drills with Mrs.J

Okay, your turn…
