What did you do for your preparedness this week? (2016-04-09)

April 9, 2016, by Ken Jorgustin

Yes, Mrs.J apparently has a ‘pet’ red squirrel living in this rock wall, and feeds it peanuts every day…

This weekly post is open-forum (any topic) enabling you to voice what you’ve been doing this week for preparedness, your opinions, questions for others, or even your rants 😮

The more who comment, the more ideas that are spread around for the benefit of all…

We’re up to #19 in just a few weeks 🙂

-I finally ordered backup iron sights for my DPMS Oracle so as not to rely solely on the EoTech optics.

-Got out the Stihl and cut down two small/medium Spruce trees which looked to have developed a problem (don’t want anything spreading, just in case…)

-Working on some indoor projects, not so much preparedness related, but plenty of work nonetheless!

-Notice the Snowshoe Hares beginning to turn brown after being white all winter (interesting how that happens).

-Some Turkey (Gobblers) walking around strutting their stuff lately – fanning their tails (must be some hot hens around 😉 )

-The deer are numerous (sightings several times a day)

-The Robins are back

-But it snowed again this morning… enough already!

Your turn…
