What did you do for your preparedness this week? (2016-05-21)

Mr. Black Bear decided that the deer food belongs to him… We did not argue…
Afterwards we promptly ‘retired’ the feed bowl until next winter 😉

This weekly post is an open-forum (any topic) to voice your thoughts, opinions, or questions for others. Lets hear about what you’ve been doing this week for preparedness, or perhaps what you have done to convert your Fiat Paper into tangible practical assets 😉

The more who comment, the more that’s spread around for the benefit of all…

-Picked up 600 lbs of concrete for some posts (today’s project)
-Picked up a ‘corral gate’ from Tractor Supply for the garden fence
-Acquired a wood chipper (lots more trees to process around here)
-Ordering more bear spray (they’re around nearly every day now…)
-Watching the last bit of snow finally melt atop the mountain summits
-More work on the ‘honey-do’ list

Preparing for upcoming canning, I picked up this dual-burner propane camp stove (high BTU’s!) to put out on the porch instead of sweating it out in the house…
