What did you do for your preparedness this week? (2016-09-17)
This weekly post is an open-forum (any topic) to voice your thoughts, opinions, or questions for others. Lets hear about what you’ve been doing this week for preparedness, or perhaps what you have done to convert your ‘fiat’ (paper) currency into tangible assets 😉
The more who comment, the more that’s spread around for the benefit of all…
Note: For all articles (except this one) during the week, we ask that you stay on-topic. However when you feel like commenting about anything else (e.g. a current event, something to bring to everyone’s attention, a question, anything ‘off-topic’, etc..), you should put it in the latest ‘What did you do for your preparedness this week?’ open-forum article.
Note: You can read the most recent (150) comments from this site on the ‘Discussion’ page.

UPDATE: This week we have moved up to the #11 position over on TopPrepperWebsites and still climbing… Thanks for all your votes. Keep ’em coming!
This week we split some more wood (used the log splitter rather than the hard way 😉 ).
I painted the front of our ‘shipping container’ Forest Green to blend in better as it sits back in the woods a bit (hardly noticeable now).
Mrs.J finished updating our entire food storage inventory – now it’s time to evaluate and purchase whatever else we feel necessary.
Played around with some of the ‘HAM Radio’ gear, having put up another antenna.
Yesterday had to turn on the heat in the house for the first time since Spring (it ‘almost’ dropped to frost/freezing that morning).
Have lots more to do outside before it gets colder…
What about you?
