This week’s preparedness:
We added a fairly significant amount of canned meat to our deep pantry this week. We also purchased more canning jars with the intent of doing more of our own canning of meats. Spent some more time winterizing around the house and property, and I’m nearly done… good thing because we’re supposed to get a touch of snow tonight and/or this coming week. We also had a pellet stove installed this past week as a supplemental heat source to our propane system. Stacked a few tons of pellets. Purchased a second chest freezer… will be getting half a pig from the neighbor this December.
Interesting Product Of The Week:
Diana RWS 34 Pellet Gun
‘Quiet’ and effective procurement of small game.
Okay, what have you been up to this week?
