22 Government Excuses For Your ID Implant
January 19, 2012Guest post: by ‘Be informed’
Sometime in the NOT too distant future there will be western countries that will begin to require their citizens to have tracking implants put somewhere into their bodies. The leaps and bounds of miniaturized electronic technology is probably almost ready for full introduction on a countrywide scale. Microchips are already now routinely implanted into pets and can be scanned by handheld devices.
Even if the technology existed to implant everyone right now, citizens would initially offer colossal resistance to their government. Conjured up would be the mark of the beast and a mass religious backlash against the government. How will human implanting ever get started then? It will probably end up being approved by the majority of the people themselves. WHAT?!
Yes, many extremely controversial measures are agreed to, or gone along with, by most of the people and passed into law by their politicians. Some laws and regulations are shoveled down people’s throats during times of upheaval and often for the sake of “security”. Implanting people though can be presented in unscrupulous ways that make it appear to most everyone that their lives will be made easier, more convenient, and safer.
Those in charge of your government will present all sorts of positive upbeat reasons why micro chipping everyone will aid in everyone’s life and they will give all sorts of excuses for the national security and safety for all.
- Our country is economically broke and needs a streamlined new monetary system in which all transactions are controlled by a central government financial institution. This will be the ONLY way to conduct business since traditional money is abolished.
- Government could offer an option to its citizens that those who are implanted will get a tax break, and those that don’t will get a 300% increase on their taxes.
- All medical treatments to be tied to personal ID implant chips, providing instant access to alleviate any mistakes and speed up life saving treatments.
- You will be told that crime will disappear as law enforcement knows exactly where everyone is at all times, even the chance of terrorism is reduced to near zero.
- ONLY law abiding citizens will be able to possess firearms as the implants will automatically know if someone has a gun that shouldn’t because all firearms also have ID implants in them.
- Homeless people will finally have legitimate ID and no longer be a hazard to the public.
- Rescuers know exactly where to go to save you based on the tracking location of your implant.
- The government will say that there will be no more waiting in lines at airports or other means of transportation because of time consuming screening.
- Free and unrestricted travel to all other countries participating in ID implants, no passports needed.
- Check-out at any store, no waiting in line, automatic deduction from your account.
- They will preach that regular ID cards can be stolen, altered, and manipulated, but when you have the ID inside of you, there is no chance of fraud.
- They will promise that you will not lose any of your civil rights.
- They will sprinkle “sweet” thoughts like no one will be strangers to each other any longer, we will all be one big family.
- Total cashless purchases, and they will try to sell you the thought that food and other items will be cheaper.
- Now parents will never have to worry about missing children.
- Total elimination of calculating your income taxes, every source of income and expenses are totally kept track of for you.
- The implant procedure is safe and easy, and you won’t even know it is there it is so tiny.
- They will make sure that they tell everyone that religious freedoms will never be affected, and highly recognized leaders of each denomination will be there to reassure their fellow worshipers.
- We the government can better serve you quicker.
- There is no threat if you are a good honest person with nothing to hide criminally.
- If it doesn’t work we will abandon it right away.
- It is your DUTY as a citizen to do what is necessary to help and support your country by having a simple and harmless ID system put into your body.

40,000 New Laws For 2012
January 11, 2012How many laws can you remember and keep straight in your head so as to assure yourself that you will not break any? How about 40,000? That’s just the number of new laws enacted in the United States for 2012 alone!
Your politicians are busy at work increasing the tangled web of laws, some of which (many of which?) arguably continue to tie the hands or snare the doings of Americans who are just trying to do the right thing.
One wonders how many laws we need in order to maintain justice and a civilized society. There was a time when most of us simply knew right from wrong. It was in our gut – we just knew. Nowadays things that may seem innocent enough may actually be breaking a new law.
If carried out to the extreme, the endless or infinite number of new laws of ‘good intentions’ from politicians and groups who wish to save us from ourselves, the net sum of which would effectively make us slaves, simply being led around by the nose and told what to do from the moment we wake up to the moment we go to sleep, following a strict set of do’s and dont’s.
How many laws are there in the United States? You will not find an answer. There is no single repository and there are simply too many to know.
The laws that we do have are tedious, overly complex and sometimes not only impossible to understand, but impossible to comply with. Our elected officials pass laws in fits of whimsy, responding to the latest scare headlines, demands from interest groups or data from polling firms. Rarely entering into the debate are common-sense-reasoning, freedom, or constitutional authority.
The ‘pocket edition’ of the federal criminal code is 1,400 pages! The Federal Registry, which records all of the regulations the federal government imposes on businesses exceeds 75,000 pages. The U.S. tax code is 72,000 pages! And that’s just for starters!
America, the land of the free? Really? We’ve simply been trained to follow a general path of life directed by the powers-that-be who themselves built the system that is around us, designed to constrain us and slave us with debt, and to pay interest on that debt, while the system itself distracts us from that reality with movie-star fluff, the Entertainment channel, and other such trivial BS.
Nothing against life’s entertainment outlets, it’s just the mainstream emphasis thereof, rather than a sharper focus on the more important issues that we are facing as a people and a nation.
Don’t worry though, from cradle to grave, the government will soon control all aspects of our lives. But hey… we’re a free people, right?
How can we stop the progression of bigger government, more and more laws, and increasing enslavement? If it’s not too late already, we can fight back by not supporting the existing power structure. Vote for those who are genuinely for smaller government and more personal freedom and responsibility. The tough thing is though, people like that are few and far between. They seldom rise to the top because the system spews them out well before they get there.

Complacent Lazy Populace Gets The Government It Deserves
December 17, 2011I think there are two problems that the majority of the population have fallen into, complacency or smugness, and just mental laziness. People in general have fallen into their own private little worlds and have lost complete sight of what their leaders are doing to them. This complacency is a disease that has infected so many. The ONLY thing that most people care about is their own personal lives and their own comfort, without even having the insight that their little worlds are dependent on stable rational leaders.
It is often too much effort for the common person to do the necessary research to see if a candidate is actually suitable for the office they are running for. If they sound good and are pretty boys or appealing ladies, this is what often determines the winner of a so called leader. Seriously, if they did a truthful poll about how much actual time went into a voter’s decision about a mayor, governor, house rep, senator, president, the time spent on 90% of the population that voted would be most likely less than 5 minutes. I knew someone that actually went into a voting booth and simply chose every third box on the voter’s slip. That is a sad joke that is so ridiculous it makes you wonder how the voters have not chosen someone like Hitler that would have started WW3.
Then there are those who do care. They see the writing on the wall and yet few listen, and this is the power that any government has, people’s own selfish lives being just above intolerable. As long as any government can provide a person with the bare necessities, and convince them that they are not miserable, not exactly overly joyed, but OK, then they keep the revolution at the unlikely stage.
The government is not as stupid as people think, they are master manipulators and have much practice at it. Some people are more willing than others to spend the effort and time to open their eyes and actually ‘think’. We though are a rarity and unfortunately the masses are just not going to listen except to the mainstream.
The problem with any government that manipulates their people is that the people become puppets and the infrastructure becomes vastly compromised as people lose their will to keep their country strong and vibrant. Anyone alive during the era pre-1960′s can contest to just how much people and the leaders loved their country and felt a great pride to keep their communities and the whole country together. Neighbors helping neighbors. Now look at it. The blame is not only on the leaders, it is the whole populace that have just stopped caring about each-others well being.
I guess “almost” everyone can say they helped shred the constitution in their own little way.

Congress Considers Bill to Censor Internet
December 13, 2011
US Senate
Protect IP Act (PIPA)
US House of Representatives
Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA)
From the bill: “To prevent online threats to economic creativity and theft of intellectual property, and for other purposes.”
The Washington Post says,
If passed, PIPA would give the government and rights holders dramatic new powers to target websites accused of the unlicensed distribution of copyrighted content. Once identified, accused sites would have their domains disabled in DNS servers (the servers that match the domain name with the numerical IP address and make sure you go to the websites you want to), and search engines, advertising companies and any affiliated websites could be required to remove links to the offending site – effectively blacklisting the URL and placing undo burden on those associated with it to prove their innocence.
In many cases, website proprietors won’t even know PIPA has targeted them until their site has already been blacklisted under a temporary restraining order. They wouldn’t even get their day in court until their business has already been shut down.
This would be a problem under any legal regime that cared about the rights of the accused, but it’s quite more egregious given law enforcement’s sloppy use of its existent powers in the Internet realm — accidentally shutting down 84,000 websites earlier this year…
Eric Schmidt, executive chairman of Google, said,
The bills would overdo it — giving copyright holders and government the power to cut off Web sites unreasonably. They could be shut down, and search engines such as Google, Bing and Yahoo could be stopped from linking to them.
“The solutions are draconian,” “There’s a bill that would require ISPs [Internet service providers] to remove URLs from the Web, which is also known as censorship last time I checked.”
the weekly Standard says,
The bills essentially call for censorship of online speech in such a way, and with so little recourse for those accused of “infringing” on intellectual property rights.
Even in China they are calling it the “Great Firewall of America.” At least the Chinese are enjoying the irony of the U.S. government moving toward a legal regime that would give it carte blanche to seize and take down websites on the basis of “infringement.”
Modern Survival Blog says,
Congress and the executive branch sure seem to be in a hurry to rip up more of our liberties.

US Navy Pays $26 a Gallon For BioFuel
December 11, 2011The departments of Agriculture and the Navy announced plans to buy 450,000 gallons of biofuel at a cost of about $26 per gallon, totaling $12 Million in what will be the largest federal purchase of biofuel in U.S. history.
This new purchase, at first, will cost $26 per gallon, or $1,092 per barrel. That biofuel will then be blended with an equal amount of fossil fuel, producing 900,000 gallons — and an effective price of about $15 per gallon for that 50/50 blend.
Bloomberg reports that the deal follows an August announcement by the Navy and the U.S. energy and agriculture departments to invest $510 Million to retrofit or build new biofuel processing plants.
The purchase has been authorized by an executive order by president Obama. The administration gave no indication why they’re not going through Congress.
The participating companies are Tyson foods, Syntroleum Corp, and Solazyme. Interestingly, a member of Obama’s presidential transition team, T. J. Glauthier, is a “strategic advisor” at Solazyme, one of the companies to benefit from the half-billion-dollar government investment.
Tyson Food is headquartered in Springdale, Arkansas, and is one of the world’s largest processors and marketers of chicken, beef and pork.
Syntroleum Corp (a publicly held US company who merged with SLH Corporation) together with Tyson, will construct the world’s first renewable synthetic fuels plant utilizing its technology and Tyson sourced agricultural feedstock.
Solazyme is headquartered in San Francisco and specializes in algae fuel.
Given the fact that the Unites States national debt is currently more than $15 Trillion, one wonders if paying $26 per gallon for fuel is a good idea right about now…

Liberty vs White House Plan For Homegrown Extremism
December 10, 2011The White House has unveiled a new strategy (Strategic Implementation Plan) “to fight homegrown terrorism”, named, the “Strategic Implementation Plan for Empowering Local Partners to Prevent Violent Extremism in the United States”.
“The plan outlines enhanced coordination between ‘local partners’ including schools and community groups, and federal law enforcement, and seeks to empower communities by teaching local officials to recognize violent extremism”
Having read the White House plan, which can be found here, the phrase “violent extremism” was used 88 times with the apparent purpose of highlighting the general purpose of the program’s mission of prevention. However, nowhere within the document had they defined the phrase ‘violent extremism’ in any way. That is unfortunate, because although the intention of the program may be good, the door may have been opened yet again regarding the further loss of American liberties.
The obvious presumption is that the inclusion of the word ‘violent’ implies the action itself. However the language within the document specifically and primarily calls for implementing methods that would enable recognizing ‘potential’ behaviors and actions that could lead to ‘extremism’.
Again, what is ‘extremism’? How many times have you heard the term ‘extremism’ thrown around by the media during the past decade? Pretty much anything outside of the normal (whatever that is…) is considered ‘extreme’ these days, with no room for in-between. Today’s culture has been brainwashed to believe that speaking out or challenging the status quo is a form of extremism…
Given that the Senate recently passed the ‘2012 National Defense Authorization Act‘ (which itself opens the door for trial-free, indefinite detention of anyone, including American citizens, so long as the government calls them terrorists), one might be skeptical of this recent White House program – Strategic Implementation Plan for Empowering Local Partners to Prevent Violent Extremism in the United States.
Interestingly, the word “resilience” was used 20 times in the document, always in the context of training and building recognition of behaviors and actions that may lead to ‘violent extremism’, from schools to community to local-state-federal law enforcement.
The following are excerpts from the White House SIP document:
Free societies face threats from a range of violent extremists.
(Implying that being ‘not-as-free’ would be better?)
The Federal Government is focused on three core areas of activity:
(1) enhancing engagement with and support to local communities that may be targeted by violent extremists;
(2) building government and law enforcement expertise for preventing violent extremism;
(3) countering violent extremist propaganda while promoting our ideals.
(…and, what is the definition of ‘violent extremism’, or how about simply ‘extremism’?)
Leveraging the wide range of tools, capabilities, and resources of the United States Government in a coordinated manner is essential for success. Traditional national security or law enforcement agencies such as DHS, DOJ, and the FBI will execute many of the programs and activities outlined in the SIP (Strategic Implementation Plan).
(Coordinated attacks usually work best, but, what are we attacking specifically?)
…prevent radicalization that leads to violence.
(What is ‘radicalization’? For example, is speaking out against the powers-that-be considered radicalism?)
Although both the National Strategy for Empowering Local Partners and the SIP specifically address preventing violent extremism in the United States, the delineation between domestic and international is becoming increasingly less rigid. Violent extremists operating abroad have direct access to Americans via the Internet, and overseas events have fueled violent extremist radicalization and recruitment in the United States.
(Whenever the government mentions the word, ‘internet’, my radar goes up…)
The Internet, social networking, and other technology tools and innovations present both challenges and opportunities. The Internet has facilitated violent extremist recruitment and radicalization and, in some instances, attack planning, requiring that we consider programs and initiatives that are mindful of the online nature of the threat. At the same time, the Federal Government can leverage and support the use of new technologies to engage communities, build and mobilize networks against violent extremism, and undercut terrorist narratives. All of our activities should consider how technology impacts radicalization to violence and the ways we can use it to expand and improve our whole-of-government effort.
(‘Opportunities’ for the internet and social networking using ‘new technologies’… What are these new technologies? Could it have something to do with automated logging of all internet activity while building profiles on individuals?)
It is important to recognize that the National Strategy for Empowering Local Partners represents the first time the United States Government has outlined an approach to address ideologically inspired violent extremism in the Homeland. While the objectives and sub-objectives listed in the SIP represent the collective wisdom and insight of the United States Government about what areas of action have the greatest potential to prevent violent extremism, we will learn more about our effectiveness as we assess our efforts over time, and we will adjust our activities accordingly.
(The government program will look to identify people with ‘ideology’ that fits a definition which is apparently yet to be defined.)
The Federal Government will help broker agreements on partnerships to counter violent extremism between communities and local government and law enforcement to help institutionalize this locally focused approach.
(‘Institutionalize’. To make part of a structured and usually well-established system. In other words, to make it ‘normal’)
DHS and DOJ will work to increase support for local, community-led programs and initiatives to counter violent extremism, predominantly by identifying opportunities within existing appropriations for incorporating CVE (countering violent extremism) as an eligible area of work for public safety, violence prevention, and community resilience grants.
(CVE ‘an eligible area of work’… Is this going to be something like a new TSA-type of bureaucracy?)
Based on direction from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (DNI), DHS led an effort to improve the analysis of homegrown violent extremism, including analytic tools to share with State, local, and tribal partners.
(Will the ‘analytic tools’ violate any of our constitutional rights?)
…requiring careful consideration of a number of legal issues, especially those related to the First Amendment. In many instances, it will be more effective to empower communities to develop credible alternatives that challenge violent extremist narratives rather than having the Federal Government attempt to do so.
(Looking for ways to silence the First Amendment perhaps?)
Our planned actions include Providing grants to counter violent extremist narratives and ideologies…
(Uh-oh, ‘grants’… Oh, that’s right, they can print as much money as they want…)
In summary, while we hope that the government will take the high road, an unfortunate realism is that when granted more power, more power corrupts, absolutely…

A Great Threat To American Civil Liberties
December 6, 2011The 2012 National Defense Authorization Act. A new law passed by the Senate (93 – 7) will open the door for trial-free, indefinite detention of anyone, including American citizens, so long as the government calls them terrorists.
The law would place domestic terror investigations and interrogations into the hands of the military giving armed forces overriding freedom to detain anyone on charges of terrorism and keep him in detention indefinitely without taking him or her to a civil court.
So much for innocent until proven guilty. So much for limited government. What Americans are now facing is quite literally the end of the line. We will either uphold the freedoms baked into our Constitutional Republic, or we will scrap the entire project in the name of security as we wage, endlessly, this futile, costly, and ultimately self-defeating War on Terror.
Source: Forbes.com
The United States Senate voted to preserve a provision in the National Defense Authorization Act (the bill that funds the Pentagon) allowing the U.S. military to pick up and detain, without charges or trial, anyone suspected of terrorism, including American citizens…
Sen. Al Franken (D-Minn.) said, “What we are talking about here is that Americans could be subjected to life imprisonment. Think about that for a minute. Life imprisonment. Without ever being charged, tried, or convicted of a crime. Without ever having an opportunity to prove your innocence to a judge or a jury of your peers. And without the government ever having to prove your guilt beyond a reasonable doubt. I think that denigrates the very foundations of this country.”
Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) said, “it puts every single American citizen at risk.”
The bill grants power to the military to arrest U.S. citizens on American soil and detain them in military prisons forever without offering them the right to legal counsel or even a trial. This isn’t a totally new thing: “dirty bomb” plotter Jose Padilla spent three-and-a-half years as an “enemy combatant” until he was finally charged. But Padilla’s detention was unusual and sparked a huge outcry; the new provisions would standardize his treatment and enable us all to become Jose Padillas.
Sen. Mark Udall (D-CO) tried to kill the provision on indefinite detention with an amendment that required Congressional review of these brand-new military detention powers, but his effort failed 60 votes to 38.
The provision dispenses with Article 3, Section 3 of the Constitution, which provides that nobody can be punished for treason without heightened due process requirements being met.”
The provisions will militarize America even further and—in Graham’s words—”basically say[s] in law for the first time that the homeland is part of the battlefield.” Your backyard is a microcosm of the war on terror. Just think of that every time you host a barbecue.
Source: Gawker.com
The 7 who voted no to the violations of the Bill of Rights are: Rand Paul, Tom Coburn, Mike Lee, Bernie Sanders, Tom Harkin, Ron Wyden, and Jeff Merkley.
An important distinction historically has been made between the manner in which Americans at home are treated during wartime, and the manner in which enemy combatants overseas are handled. After the Civil War, the law has maintained that the U.S. military must not be used on American soil to police, surveil, track, arrest, or detain U.S. citizens. The term ‘enemy combatant’ has been reserved for soldiers on the field of battle–in areas other than the homeland–who in time of war can be detained and held indefinitely until the state of war is resolved.
Bill S 1867 would change that completely.
language contained in other portions of the bill raise serious doubts concerning the new law’s ability to prevent a President from misuse of power in that regard.
For example, a U.S. citizens who has merely stored up more than 7 days of non-perishable food items could be deemed a terrorist. If you are missing a finger or fingers due to an accident, you could be deemed a terrorist. If you own a gun and weather-proof ammunition, you could be deemed a terrorist.

Sen. Rand Paul Speaks on the Senate Floor on Defense Authorization Act – 11/29/11

A curious Halliburton / KBR Request-For-Proposal has just been exposed which calls for specific FEMA Camp services to be available within 72 hours of notice, for initial set-up and the ability to respond within 24 hours for incremental services.
Infowars.com has received a document originating from Halliburton subsidiary KBR that provides details on a push to outfit FEMA and U.S. Army camps around the United States. Entitled “Project Overview and Anticipated Project Requirements,” the document describes services KBR is looking to farm out to subcontractors. The document was passed on to us by a state government employee who wishes to remain anonymous for obvious reasons.
KBR’s call for FEMA camp service bids arrives soon after the Senate overwhelmingly passed the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) which permits the military to detain and interrogate supposed domestic terror suspects in violation of the Fourth Amendment and Posse Comitatus.
Section 1031 of the NDAA bill declares the whole of the United States as a “battlefield” and allows American citizens to be arrested on U.S. soil and incarcerated in Guantanamo Bay.

Folks… Do a search on Google News for “National Defense Authorization Act”.
This goes against my Libertarian leanings, and should also go against yours – no matter your political orientation. While we all certainly want to do what we can to prevent ‘real’ terrorism (which itself has become very broadly defined), we must not let our government enact new laws that strip us of our constitutional rights. This is far worse than the TSA strip searching GrandMa at the airport…
How far will you let them go???
