In 2012, Mrs. J and I moved to our homestead nestled in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, where I’ve been writing articles on my blog ever since. I bring a lifetime of practical experience to the table – especially when it comes to the topics I write about and the products I occasionally recommend.

Many of the blog’s topics relate to practical, sensible prepping and preparedness – a subject I’m passionate about. My blog’s tagline sums it up well:

Prepping Strategies & Emergency Preparedness for Modern Day Risks

I’m writing this note to disclose the following:

Modern Survival Blog is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.

From time to time, I include product links within an article as a way to help support the time and effort I put into this blog. When I recommend a product, it’s because I’ve researched it thoroughly – and in many cases, I’ve bought and/or used it myself. I want my recommendations to be genuinely helpful and reliable.

If you purchase a product through one of these links, I may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. It does not affect the price you pay.

I put thought, research, and experience behind anything I choose to promote.

Thanks for visiting.
