Businesses are self-identifying with political ideals. Why? Are they nuts? Don’t they realize that they’re alienating a significant portion of their potential consumer base???
What is Identity Politics?
Merriam Webster: “… in which groups of people having a particular racial, religious, ethnic, social, or cultural identity tend to promote their own specific interests or concerns…”
Identity politics are broadly defined. But they typically involve an individual (and now, businesses) who base their identity on social categories and divisions. To be accepted into their sphere, one must meet their threshold of political identity. Else, be cast out.
Business and Identity Politics
From inclusion to division. Businesses and identity politics are furthering our great divide.
It has been going on for awhile. But wow, the past year or two or three has really brought out the identity politics. Self-aligning and publicly identifying with a group to the extent of making enemies and losing business. It’s nuts…
Why in the world would a business choose to take a side when the objective of business is to produce a product or service for profit?
Maybe a given business is “rich enough” and they’re willing to sacrifice profits for the sake of promoting their political identity.
Or maybe they only want like-minded people into their “club”, I mean, business…
Perhaps they feel that they won’t be too hurt by lost customers due to the assumption that most of the public doesn’t really care. Could they be making a mistake in that department?
Why Are Identity Politics Always LEFTist Issues?
It always appears to be about identity issues on the left.
- anti-2nd Amendment
- anti-national identity
- anti-free speech
- anti-LEGAL immigration
You don’t really hear about businesses that discriminate from the other side of the spectrum. It’s always the far left.
Anti 2nd-Amendment Businesses
This issue is highly charged among businesses who choose to participate in identity politics.
A list of some of the higher profile anti 2nd-Amendment businesses who have gone out of their way to promote anti 2nd-Amendment issues now include the following:

- L.L. Bean

- TGI Friday’s
- Delta Airlines

- And of course, all mainstream media ownership
The list would go on and on. Seriously. It’s amazing how many businesses are listed once you start searching. It’s as if nearly all big business has entered into anti 2nd-Amendment activities.
And that’s just one category (although a popular one) of identity politics. Many are involved with other aspects of identity politics too.
Never mind the will of the voters. Business, particularly “big business” is heavily involved with altering and shaping the political direction of our Republic. And the direction of all alterations is that of far-left.
In my view, Big Business, to a large extent, runs this country. Runs this world. In cohorts with the banking cartel. Oligarchs and the political elite class help carry it out. The wheels are greased with lots-a-money.
You and I? We’re the serfs. The working class. The hosts for the parasites.
The ownership’s of “big business” are largely intertwined with the agendas of a globalist system. They are not beholden to nation states. The globalist ideals/agendas fly in the face of a free society. Especially one which enables fighting back against tyranny (2nd & 1st Amendment for example).
So some of them actively participate in the destruction of this Republic. A chunk at a time. Break down the family. Destroy morality. Enslave the populous with debt. Remove their abilities to fight back.
