The conflict of Syria is imminently reaching a point of no return, and by default and proxy this means the United States vs. Russia. It is happening right now, even today, while the next two weeks are critical.
The situation is not being reported in the lame stream news – which instead is focusing nearly 100% distraction on the presidential campaign (while the global economy burns to the ground and WWIII is set to trigger…).
There have been several good alt-news articles this week explaining the situation, and I’ll sum it up for you here:
The Main Actors:
Turkey & Saudi Arabia vs. Syria & Iran
NATO (United States) vs. Russia (alliance with Syria/Iran)
The U.S. has been trying to oust Assad (Syria) for years – using so called ‘rebel’ forces to do the dirty work. These ‘rebel’ (proxy) fighters include and have been dominated by ISIS (our supposed enemy here in the U.S.) and other ‘terrorist groups for hire’. See how things work?
Saudi Arabia (U.S. proxy) has been funneling countless hundreds of millions ($) of oil through Syria to Turkey where it’s sold on the global market to fund ISIS there. This has enabled ISIS (and other cohort ‘rebel’ groups) to gain control of territory in Syria while it furthers it’s fight against Assad and his government there in Syria.
Months ago however, Assad called on Russia (their Alliance) for help. Russia has since been bombing the snot out of ISIS and (‘the rebels’) along their oil ‘money’ routes to Turkey (their funding source).
And now Syria (Russia) has just closed the stranglehold (destroyed) the money route and the situation is desperate (for any further chance of Assad’s overthrow via ‘the West’ and their proxy ‘rebels’).
Russian-backed Syrian pro-government forces have cut off the last supply route, known as the Azaz corridor, linking partially opposition-held Aleppo with Turkey.
If the last corridor completely falls, the rebel groups could lose the quarters of Aleppo they currently control.
ISIS (proxy for the U.S. in that region) was never supposed to lose in Syria .
A ‘last stand’… The region (city) of ‘Aleppo’ in northern Syria, 30 miles from the border with Turkey (a final ‘key’ city) is controlled by the ‘rebels’ who are fighting against Assad, but now the city is apparently surrounded by Syrian alliance ground troops – enabled by Russian airstrikes.
If Aleppo falls (if the rebels against Assad lose Aleppo), then this thing could be over (the West will lose).
Will the West give up their quest for Syria?
The climax for Syria is happening right now. Perhaps in the next few days.
Turkey has begun ‘shelling’ into Syria for the past 4 days in an effort to help the ‘rebels’ who are surrounded.
According to a report this morning (ZH), “…there’s every reason to suspect that Turkey will not only persist in the shelling…but will in fact invade Syria. You know, “to fight ISIS.”
Observational Note: Since ISIS has been demonized here in the U.S., it remains a good ‘excuse’ for public opinion to accept the rationale to fight there (even though they are the apparent proxy for Syrian overthrow and funded by ‘the West’ there). It’s very twisted… (I still remember when the mainstream suddenly and simultaneously and harmoniously began using the term awhile ago – which I thought was ‘interesting’) One day a terrorist group is the enemy and the next a ‘convenient’ but secret ally?
Back to the story:
Again, from ZH, “On Tuesday we got still more indications that a major escalation in Syria is imminent when Turkey said it would “definitely” participate in a ground operation.”
They (the West) are actually apparently considering a ground invasion into Syria. Not only is Turkey on record and gearing up, but wait until you read this:
Saudi Arabia has apparently (and is currently) “sending troops and fighter jets to Turkey’s Incirlik military base ahead of a possible ground invasion of Syria.” via Michael Snyder via Yeni Şafak newspaper on Saturday. And he went on to say “There are reports that Saudi officials are saying that the decision to send in ground troops is “irreversible”, and Reuters is reporting that the Syrian government claims that some Turkish troops have already entered the country…”
But there’s more:
soldiers, tanks, warplanes and military helicopters are massing in northern Saudi Arabia for a military exercise that is being called “Northern Thunder”.
According to the official announcement, forces are being contributed by Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Jordan, Bahrain, Sudan, Kuwait, Morocco, Pakistan, Tunisia, Oman, Qatar, Malaysia and several other nations.
This exercise will reportedly last for 18 days, and during that time the airspace over northern Saudi Arabia will be closed to air traffic. This will be the largest military exercise in the history of the region, and it comes amid rumors that Saudi Arabia and Turkey are preparing for a massive ground invasion of Syria.

Coincidence? There’s no such thing…
A thinking person will realize that a ground invasion of Syria will not be allowed to happen without the consent of the U.S. president, and if indeed there is to be a ground invasion into Syria – the 64 million dollar question will be, “What will Russia do?”
The fact that we are currently at this threshold is clear evidence of the apparent critical and desperate times we’re in. We all know (at least those of us who seek out the real news) that the global economic situation is dire, and a World War may just be what the doctor ordered… See how that works?
I don’t like this one bit.
While I’ve attempted to summarize a complicated situation in less than 1000 words, the details are out there for you to find. I believe I’ve captured some of the pertinent ‘need to know’ info, and you can do with it as you may…
With that said, I believe we will find out soon. And if this turns into a $hit$torm, the escalation could be dramatic.
